Homemade Electrolyte Drink

Many people are depleted from minerals, so adding an electrolyte drink to your rotation is a great way to stay hydrated and increase minerals! You might be tempted to opt for a gatorade, but the ingredients in this drink are not the best.

A homemade electrolyte drink will help you avoid food dyes, highly refined sugars, and other not-so-fun ingredients. It only takes a few ingredients and a few minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 20 ounces of filtered water (distilled, berkey, reverse osmosis, etc.)

  • 8 ounces of coconut water (more or less to taste)

  • Juice of 1-2 lemons

  • Juice of 1-2 limes

  • Pinch of sea salt (we love redmond's!)

  • splash of maple syrup to taste (optional)

Instructions:

Combine everything into a pitcher and serve cool!

You can replace the maple syrup with coconut sugar, honey, etc. you just have to make a simple syrup first.
